The school is located in the southern side of Singida District in Singida region about 45 kms from Singida town. The school is situated nearby health centre. It started in 1944 as a regular school.1980 the school introduced the classes for the blind pupils, this was brought by the result of the District census of 1978 where by more than 26 children with the school age were found having the problem of vision within the District.
